Random Ramblings Part two:

I was outside calling my puppy, Daxter, a chihuahua. ( Sadly he died that fall. Dug up some posionous plant bulbs.) I rounded the house, near the initial bait site. I should have been more intuitive to carefully look over in that direction, but noooooo. I just walked the yard calling for Daxter.

I didn't know it, but he was hiding. I saw some movement through the trees. I was honestly only about 15 feet away from this creature! But there was the tree line that separated me from him/her and I couldn't get a good view. What I did see was what I thought was a deer. A whilte tailed deer, because I saw the tail shake up in the air. That calmed my nerves when I saw that. I said to myself  'it's only a deer' but my eyes followed the backside down the thigh, which didn't look like a deer thigh, then I saw a leg, which didn't look like a deer leg... then I saw the leg with no slender ankle or hoof... it was just flat at the end.

I even said to myself then that I couldn't be looking at a coyote, because the leg was THICK! I can't say I saw a foot or paw... I just know there was no hoof! My mind didn't put two and two together, and I asked my husband what I could have seen; if bears have tails that stick up like white tailed deer. Bears do not have tails that stick up and wag when alerted or frightened.

I actually saw this from a deer in our yard, it scared me because it was dark out and I thought I was looking at a pack of coyotes or wolves because I wasn't expecting to see such bushy tails! It was dark, and I only had a powerful flashlight shining on them. ( yeah, I laugh at me too!)

Anyway, the creature took off in one leap. I couldn't follow it with my eyesight because it was GONE! I heard it leave the yard, but I tried to follow some tracks in the dirt, there wasn't any. Just a scoop in the ground underneath the hanging lid with peanut butter on it. I say scoop, because it was like some big hand scooped some dirt out of the ground.  I thought maybe that this could have been where a foot, paw or hoof ( I still say hoof, ) was firmly planted as the creature leaped up and across to where it was going for safety.  This is speculation, but the fact that I couldn't find any hoof prints, if this was a deer that had leaped into the air- a good three feet into the air- nothing.

I didn't want to believe this. Honestly, I thought my mind was playing tricks on me, and after this was all over- maybe 30 seconds or less even... I called for my dog, and he was so scared, it took alot of coaxing to assure him, I wasn't going to hurt him.

This little dog was my bud. He was awesome! He'd follow me where ever, and go play with Mugs, visit with my daughter and husband for a while, but always would come find me out, and cuddle and spend time with me. I have to say I miss the little fella...

DON"T plant any bulbs near in your flower bed if you have pets. PLEASE!

Well, back to this... whatever I saw.

Like I mentioned before with my first sighting, I have opted out to tell all the details because I myself didn't want to believe it, and I easily dismissed the seconed so called sighting as a deer. It wasn't hard to see through the trees, they are not thick by any means, we have done some serious clean up and pruning and I should have been able to see more than I did. I would have, if I was paying attention.

For me sometimes putting one and one together isn't so obvious. I didn't want it to add up.

The second sighting, confirms something about the first sighting. Although they are two seperate events, it is the strangeness, and anomolous behavior that makes them similar.

Some may suggest I saw the creatures ability to shape shift, that I don't know. But what I do know is that this creature has abilities that we cannot understand. Just because I cannot shapeshift, does not make me an authority on the matter whether it exists or not, but it is an idea that I am now willing to explore.

My first sighting, as you know came about when I was outside praying. I opened my eyes to see a DARK- almost GREY like SHADOW of an outline of sasquatch moving like it was on rollers ( Like a dolly for a movie). It was through the tree line and the more I looked at it, the more it APPEARED. The Shadow became more defined, and went from a grey to a black... I ran up to the tree line, because I started to see color! I saw a cinnamon colored type creature facing away from me, and it stopped moving. The more I stared, the clearer and crisper it became. I could see it's shagginess, like a wet grizzly bear. I stared at it, and DID NOT BLINK. I did not want to take my eyes off of it. I could have stayed there for hours it felt like- taking in the moment. My knees were weak with fear and yet I was fascinated.  It's face was away from me, and for however long it stood, it did NOT MOVE. I couldn't see it breathing! I didn't notice; I should say.

A truck was coming towards us from the distance, and believe me, I did not take my eyes off this thing, and suddenly, it disappeared! Right before my eyes. I thought maybe this creature ducked down in the grass so quickly I couldn't tell, but I scanned the low parts to see if  I could detect movement, NOTHING. I could not see any creature amongst the grass or any movement in any direction... I know what I saw, this thing was in standing position, its head did not lower, its shoulders did not lower, it simply just vanished!

I thought I was going frickin nuts then. I had heard some stories of what country life can do to a city slicker, but I have to say that country life suits me just fine. I love it!

My husband was trying to convince me that I probably saw the creature duck down in the grass, but I'm the type of person who is a right fighter. I don't have to be right, but when I know I am right when it counts, then I will do what I can to prove myself. My word means alot to me, and if my husband couldn't trust my word... then well... I just couldn't have that.

This sent me on my- what I called before an obsession. It has taken hold of me from all directions and hasn't let go. I was diven so deeply that I searched the internet in all areas that I could, trying to make sense of all of this.  I was bound to get a picture, I wanted video- I set up a digital cam corder in a windo that faces an area where my neighbour had seen a creature like I described... months went by, nothing. I would wake up at five in the morning, and turn on the recorder and go back to bed. I would go to bed with it running. I would take hours out of my day scanning for evidence on the video. No one can say I wasn't determined. I had to know. I wanted to know.

My husband was finally convinced I saw something, because no matter how much I told him, I would not deviate from what I saw. Both stories did not change. It became something I had to prove to myself  and more than anything that I wasn't crazy.

Soooo, the next anonamoly I experienced, I was thankful my husband was home, and we experienced it together. After what we encountered, he was convinced that what I saw on my own, was 'something' ...
